looking out my window

I am starting to realize my apartment has horrible lighting for taking pictures and it doesn't help that it is raining outside.  However, I actually don't mind the rain today since I have a ton of work to do so it is helping me focus.  Oh wait it's get dressed for work day.  Yippee!  Focus diverted.

I am obsessed with my knitted vest from Gap.  I am trying to use it as a staple item here in the great Northwest. I have managed to wear it once if not twice a week since I bought it a month ago.

Ohh wait is that sun I see?

working from home

I have been working from home for two months now. The biggest challenge is getting dressed. That's right, you can usually find me in comfy pants and a t-shirt, which to most people would be a treat, but for me it is actually a little depressing. I enjoy getting dressed-up for work, mixing and matching my outfits and wearing high heels everyday. Thanks to my blog I have decided to get dressed-up for work twice a week. My boyfriend is going to be excited about this since he pretty much sees me in the same comfy outfits every single day. So here's to day 1 of my "working-from-home outfits."

one hot skirt = 4 different outfits

Helloooooooooooo. It's been over a week ... sorry. Blame it on my vacation back to Minnesota. Anyhoo, I realized the other day that my favorite spring/summer purchase was my hot pink Zara skirt. I have worn it so many times that I am starting to think it is the only skirt I own (and believe me it's not). I decided to show how versatile it is plus this allows me to A) use my brand new Nikon D3000 camera and B) show off my awesome Minnesota mid-summer tan.

need supply co. = new favorite website

I just found a new website called Need Supply Co.  It kind of reminds me of Free People.  It has a very Urban Outfitter/Free People/Anthro feel to the clothes they sell but the prices vary so you are bound to find something fun.  Here are a few of my favorites
