Glastonbury concert fashion 2011

Concert fashion usually sets summer fashion for me.  After April's Coachella scene I couldn't wait to see what June's Glastonbury would pull out this year.  All I can say is if you didn't have your Hunter Wellies you definitely missed the Glastonbury fashion rule #1. But even if you didn't have your wellies at least you got to rock out to U2, Coldplay, Beyonce, Paul Simon, The Naked & Famous, The Kills, Cold War Kids and Foster the People to just name a few.

organization ... ready, set, go

So when I moved I decided to store a bunch of my clothes and shoes at my sisters place.  Why?  Because when you work from home you no longer need work clothes or shoes plus I only had a limited amount of space.  So at my new place I decided to organize my shoes, jewelry, clothes and make-up.  It's all still a work in progress but it's starting to come together.  Let me know if you have any suggestions for unique ways to organize my obsessions.  Cheers!

the Pippa by Modula

The bag, formerly known as "the Bristol" made by Modalu, has been re-named "The Pippa". AND really why wouldn't you rename it?  Because of Pippa the bag is SOLD OUT.  I say this annoyed because like the 10 million other women I also want one.  So I will wait until they make more.  I have put my email address in to be notified when they have more in stock.  I wonder how long the waitlist is????  Until I hear more enjoy the photos.

Considering that it is spring/summer.  It is almost summer right?  Anyhoo, one of my favorite patterns in the summertime is floral.  I love it on dresses, skirts, shirts and even shoes.  I decided to pull this fun floral shirt out since I FINALLY got my wide-legged jeans hemmed (5 months later).  I also decided to go back to my mixing and matching and put my floral shirt together with my leopard shoes.  Happy Monday!

OK I know I know it's been weeks. I am not sure what to blame it on ... working, traveling for work, lack of lighting in my new place, feeling uncreative???  You name it.  But I am back.  I decided to start with my favorite necklace.  It was one I bought a couple years ago while working at Anthropologie.  This necklace has been to multiple weddings and evenings out (worn by friends).  I always forget about it until someone asks to borrow it. I thought I would create an outfit around the necklace.  TA-DA!  I think I am going to wear it to dinner tonight.  I am happy to be back!
