royal wedding = amazing

Yes I was up at 1:00am PST watching and texting with friends.  Princess Kate was beautiful, stunning, amazing, gorgeous, etc. etc.  Loved her Sarah Burton, Alexander McQueen gown.  It was perfect.  Here are a few of my favorite photos of her and the guests at her wedding. it's raining shoes

Ode to my dear friend ... SHOES. I can't remember when I started my shoe obsession but it was definitely at a young age.  I was thinking about shoes this morning and I remember when I was a little girl wearing my Mom's heels, saving my money to buy heels at garage sales for 5, 10 or eeeek 25 cents, those ever so awesome plastic little girl heels, and my Aunt Cecilia's shoe collection. Oh wait maybe that is why I am so obsessed!!!!! I haven't counted how many shoes I actually have but I may have a lot.  I grabbed a few that I am loving right now.

Ohhhhh and don't worry tomorrow's post will definitely be about the ROYAL WEDDING.  I will be up all night waiting (with my huge hat on) and watching the event.  Cheerio!

hot pink = why i love being a girl

One of my favorite things about being a girl is the color PINK.  And hot pink is my favorite in the pink family. Since I was obsessing over this skirt yesterday I ran over to Zara and decided to ... well you know the answer.  As I was trying to decide what shoes to wear with my outfit today I remembered my first pair of designer shoes (Alberta Ferretti found at Loehmann's near Miami years and years ago) and voila it was a perfect outfit match.

MAC morange = mfavorite

I recently purchased a very non-Jane color lipstick from MAC.  I'd been obsessing over this bright orange color and I finally asked my make-up artist friend what color it was and where could I get it.  Within one second of looking at the photo I showed her she said, "Oh that's MAC Morange." A week later I had a tube of this magnificent color in my make-up bag.  I know what you are thinking WOW THAT IS BRIGHT and you are right, this color is definitely not for the timid.  But I love it and I especially love wearing it when I see my nephew because his eyes get so big (I know he is probably thinking my auntie Jane is so awesome).  Plus it leaves a great kiss mark on his cheek.  Happy Thursday!
